Milwaukee’s New 47-Piece Mechanic Set in a Slim Pack-Out Box
Milwaukee has recently introduced a new 47-piece mechanic set that boasts a half-inch drive in a remarkably slim pack-out box. This IP65 rated set is perfect for mechanics on-the-go, allowing for seamless transportation and organization of tools.
Key Features of the Slim Pack-Out Design
The slim pack-out box is IP65 rated, which means that it is both waterproof and dustproof. This is perfect for mechanics who may be working outside or in challenging environments. The box features a gasket around the top, ensuring that all the tools remain safe and dry.
Socket Sizes and Compatibility
This mechanic set includes sockets ranging from 10mm to 24mm, without skipping any sizes in between. There is also a range of deep well sockets, from 10 to 19mm in metric, and from half to 15/16 inches in standard. Furthermore, the sockets have a four-flat design, which prevents them from rolling around when placed on flat surfaces.
90-Tooth Ratchet Design
The included ratchet features a 90-tooth design, making it comfortable to grip and easy to operate. It is designed to work seamlessly with all the sockets included in the set.
Removable Trays and Customization
One of the standout features of this mechanic set is the ability to customize the tool storage. The included trays can be removed and placed in a toolbox, or they can be easily transported to different job sites. The pack-out box is also compatible with other Milwaukee pack-out storage solutions, ensuring that a mechanic’s tool collection can be organized and accessible.
Perfect for Mobile Mechanics
The slim pack-out box design is ideal for mobile mechanics who need to transport their tools to various job sites or clients. The box can easily be mounted to walls when not in use and can be placed in a variety of vehicle storage configurations, such as side-by-side or stacked vertically.
Compatible with Wall Mounts and Other Accessories
Milwaukee also offers wall mounts and other accessories that can be used to store this mechanic set, as well as other pack-out storage options. This allows mechanics to have their tools organized on their walls, rather than in large, bulky tool chests or cabinets.
Expanding Possibilities for Milwaukee Pack-Out Sets
Milwaukee is continuously innovating and expanding the possibilities for their pack-out sets. The new slim pack-out design for the 47-piece mechanic set is just one example of how the company is catering to the needs of professionals on-the-go. Mechanics can look forward to even more innovative tool storage solutions in the coming years.
Final Thoughts
Milwaukee’s new 47-piece mechanic set in a slim pack-out box is perfect for mobile mechanics who need an organized, portable, and IP65 rated tool storage solution. With features like the 90-tooth ratchet design, a wide range of socket sizes, and compatibility with other Milwaukee pack-out products, it is a game changer for professionals on-the-go.

Pretty cool! I love my Milwaukee socket sets with their ratchets. I have all of them from 1/4" to 1/2". The only thing I'm missing is the extended ratchets.
I don't like that they're not color coded, that's my only complaint, because color code really helps find and tell the difference between SAE and Metric if you're in a hurry
Needs to go upto 1-1/2" and have a swivel.
Great
I have been waiting for this option for the 1/2" set. Can you purchase the trays for this setup? (Thats all I really need).
I have the the 1/4” and 3/8” set and it came with universal swivel joints for each size. I wonder why that wasn’t added to this kit when there was clearly room to spare.
Now I wait for the ryobi link version
