Im loving all my XGT tools. So far I got the hammer drill and impact driver combo, rotary hammer drill with the interchangeable chuck is boss, gen 2 recip is king, mid torque impact wrench is beast.
Don’t like the XGT line only because of the high cost of the tools and batteries.
Where are the Rigid products gone?
I would pay the piper if it was made in Japan
The problem is to many people still buy it
Actually 40v charger charges 18v packs faster than 18v chargers (12a vs 8a)
Makita 18v would be better with a 8ah high output battery
that battery charger adapter is pretty handy on the dual xgt charger. can charge both 18 and 40 volt at the same time
I bet you could order some olive vinyl skins for the charger….might be the next best thing lol

I still think Makita made a mistake with LXT and XGT. I switched battery platforms from Makita and haven't looked back.

I like the olive color, but when I think of makita I think teal.
I wish Makita would bring the cool other color options they have in Japan.
