everybody said the old tech guy i'm here with a 2011 rav4 limited and we want to find out if this milwaukee 12 volt right here the milwaukee 2564-20 tool only m12 fuel 3 8 right angle impact wrench with friction ring has 220 foot pounds of bolt removing torque can go ahead and take off the lug nuts it has not performed well for me and one of the discussion points was that i wasn't using the right powered battery does that really matter in video after video you see them using the small batteries and i just wasn't getting the same performance well in a youtube live stream we came to the consensus that it does so i purchased the m12 red lithium xc 6.0 from my buddy lindsay at coil tools and we're going to find out if it can actually take off a lug nut just for comparison's sake and i know it's not a fair test so don't beat me up in the comments we're going to use this dewalt with a flex volt 60 60 volt flex volt max battery completely unfair test this is at the wall xr guys this is a monster look at that made in the usa with global parts all right guys so let's move the dewalt out of the way we've got the milwaukee right here guys we've gone ahead and put reverse let's find out if it can really do this now i'm going to hand this to my buddy so that he can watch me do it now careful don't hit no buttons we got that in reverse i'm going to go right here get it in there and and there you go man and i have to say that i believe that we were right in saying that the that the lithium xc 6.0 battery may be needed for this to work right and get some of these bolts off that i wasn't able to get off with the 4.0 battery and below i don't know why that is but that's been my experience using brand new fully charged 4.0 amp hour and below smaller batteries i couldn't even take off a lug nut using the right angle milwaukee impact wrench but now that i have the 6.0 amp hour battery it's performing perfectly and i have completely refalling in love with this tool now let's go ahead and check out the dewalt xr on one of these bolts see what it can do like butter like nothing this is 100 percent an unfair test the dcf 899 xr from dewalt has way more power and you'll notice it only needs a few hits to begin taking off those lug nuts my point in bringing out the dewalt was simply to set a baseline on expectations with the milwaukee right angle impact wrench i was surprised that the power you can get with a 12 volt battery i will give milwaukee pure props on that but i think you need a bigger battery to really do bigger jobs and i have proven it it seems to be that way as someone who has predominantly used makita throughout most of his career i have to say that i am very impressed with milwaukee's deployment of their 12-volt tool line so much so that when i needed to decide between which brand to go with i went with milwaukee and not makita i am absolutely loving these 12-volt tools and i recommend them fully if you haven't gotten this tool specifically you should really think about it or buy it today all right guys hope that was fun this is ed the old tech guy telling you i love you and i'm signing off
