Unboxing the FLEX Vacuum

Hey everyone Brian with acme tools today
we're here with the Flex tools vacuum this is a 110 120 volt vacuum it's their
model number VCE 33 l AC we're gonna do a quick unboxing and assembly video for
you to let you know what you're gonna expect once you buy this tool from Acme
tools so to get it unboxed we're gonna open this up that's all that we have in the box so right out of the chute we're gonna
take a look at some of the features that are on this vacuum then we'll crack it
open because there's gonna be more stuff on the inside nice large front caster
wheels that are lockable large wheels in the back so you can roll them around
real impressive is actually the length of this cord so we'll show you how to
store that in a little bit we're gonna open this up and here's where all the
goodies are so we've got a couple hose hangars the adapter for the end of your
hose nice owners manual and because there's a HEPA unit it's going to come
with a plastic bag and a paper bag it looks like the HEPA filters are already
installed and we'll show you where those are at and how you can maintain those in
a little bit so normally we've got nine gallon capacity it's gonna be all stored
right in here our motor units gonna fit right on top quick and easy goes to lock
in place I've seen this hose connection style and
a few different vacuums so it's nice to have some familiarity with these hose of
air vacuum hoses but you've got a quick positive latch here and then also it's
going to be a variable suction through the end of your hose so if you are using
a sander that is going to require you to turn your vacuum down you can do it at
the hose end versus always having to back to your vacuum to do it but to lock
this in all it is it's a nice hard friction fit we do have on-board power
so if you're using a sander in particular like one of the Flex giraffe
drywall Sanders you can plug that right into here when you turn your drywall
sander on your vacuum is going to come on and power the whole thing
you also have adjustable suction on the machine so if you need to fine-tune it a
little more than what you're doing on the end of the hose you can do it on the
machine and then for your power switch you've got it so it's either on working
off the tool or you're turning it on right at the vacuum so you can turn it
on you've got a bungee strap on the back to take care of your electrical cord
what you're gonna do is actually just run this right through and strap that in
place so that can help you you can use that for other things if you'd like to
as well seen a lot of people there take their cords they'll wrap it around the
unit so whatever you're most comfortable with so with the filtration of of the
vacuum for the motor components and for all the exhaust we have a foam filter
we've got a paper filter in the back and then a class H HEPA filter that's sealed
inside the this housing to protect it from any damage as we all
know if you damage a HEPA filter you're automatically replacing it all-in-all this is a very
straightforward vacuum to put together it's easy to find everything this is
actually the first time I've had my hands on one of these vacuums and I'm
rather impressed with how straightforward it is the build it seems
very heavy very well built this is a construction use machine instead of a
vacuum a lot of people call use a dust extractor just because of the high horse
power and the conditions that they're designed to be running and this is
definitely in that extractor class frame very straightforward to put together not
a lot of moving parts not a lot of pieces to mess around with now if you're
looking for a new vacuum one thing to remember is that with this flex vacuum
we have several accessories that come with it or that you could purchase with
it we have either a 9 or a 12 gallon vacuum we also have extra plastic bags
extra paper bags the fleece bags for LED abatement we have the HEPA filters floor
care kit and the giraffe holder that mounts onto this for your drywall
