hey guys Ken Davis here from Acme tools
today I'm bringing to you a little bit of tool torture and with me I have
dEWALT's latest and greatest item this is their green rotary laser and this is
working off a 20 volt battery this thing is it's an incredible tool I can't say
enough about it it's got a sixteenth of an inch accuracy at a hundred feet this
thing has got two meters of drop resistance to it and you can use the
detector up to 2,000 feet this thing will be one of the best things you can
do for your jobsite but today we're gonna go ahead and push it to its limits
a little bit so for the first test we're going to go ahead and simulate a drop
resistance with this and what this is actually designed to do is once it gets
back into its working position it's going to go ahead and auto level four so
let's see what it does here so as I spoke the feature that makes us
so awesome as once you get it back in the working position it's going to self
level for you keeping your working on the jobsite making sure that nothing
gets messed up for you so when you buy the DeWalt green rotary laser you get it
in one of these awesome t stack cases these things are pretty incredible
they're very hard to break and what I really like about them is they're
waterproof they have a seal on the inside of the lid so if you happen to
leave this out on a jobsite overnight or during a rainy day you won't have to
worry about your laser getting wrecked but we're going to take a little bit
further and see just how tough it is here so you saw the t stack with the
laser survived that let's give it a little bit more of a test here so it
looks like we still have a laser in here let's go ahead and check the make sure
that's still working functions just perfectly that's one tough case so one
of the key features that I mentioned about the T stack case here is that it's
waterproof and we do have our laser inside so we're going to go ahead and
test just how waterproof it is let's take a look inside the case here
after we ran a pressure washer across it I do have to say there are a couple of
drops in here but I'm not too disappointed about that one of the other
things that makes us like they're so great is ip67 rated so it's not going to
matter anyways this thing is dust and water resistant we did take a pressure
washer across the – which is quite a bit more rain force than you would see just
leaving it out on the job site but overall this thing's been an awesome
tool going ahead and slamming the case down on the ground rolling the laser
across the ground and giving it almost hurricane-force rain I'm entirely
impressed with this product and I know you will be too
