a better view of the internal components of the machine the control panel is very
simple it has three switches I mean power switch a feeder power switch that
controls a conveyor and a glue spindle switch this machine only requires
single-phase power 20 amp service and does not require compressed air line the
digital PID temperature control shown here is the same type user much more
expensive machines this controller is preset to 140 degrees but is adjustable
from 100 degrees to 210 degrees Celsius once the machine is turned on it takes
less than 15 minutes to heat up the controller also has a built-in
temperature reduction mode next we have the tape advanced rollers and the tape
adjustment guides this machine will accept tape widths ranging from 1/2 to 1
and 3/4 inches with a maximum thickness of 1 millimeter as the panel is fed into
the machine with slight pressure against the fence the glue spindle located here
applies the glue to the edge of the panel the amount of the glue that is applied
is adjustable to accommodate for varying conditions I also want to point out that
this machine has a CNC machine glue pod located here commonly found on machines
costing thousands of dollars more it also has an anodized interior making it
very easy to clean up now as the glue is applied to the panel the tape is
immediately advanced and adhere to the edge of the panel with the help of a
gold pressure roller as the panel moves along the industrial active trim routers
trim the top and bottom edges eliminating the need to sand or file
them as the edges are trim the built-in dust ports help to keep the trimmings
off the workpiece and floor lastly the ends of the edge banding are cut by the
front and end guillotines wrapping up the whole process now that you're more
