Sturdy and cost effective
Worked well. I used to to sand ceiling after removing popcorn ceiling. I’ll use it for the next ceiling.

A good value. Seems fairly well made.
Seems to be well made overall. The hardware used to hold the paper down seems a little small for the application, and I suspect it will eventually fail, but so far, so good. I have skimmed my living room walls and ceiling and used this to sand the whole room. It’s a good buy.

Recommend.
I was able to sand the corner of my face board that is several feet outside of a balcony. Using a ladder is out of the question because the corner is above a ficus tree, and because the ground is on a steep slope. This pole sander head came to the rescue. It works well with what I wanted to do without the risk of killing myself. Recommend.

Good old drywall
Lots of sanding coming up

Doesn’t attach to any pole.
No good. Ordered this sander in July last year. Finally got around to using it for ceiling work. However, when I tried mounting it onto a pole it wouldn’t thread on. Noticed that the threads are not manufactured properly. No matter what pole I tried it wouldn’t work. It’s junk.

REALLY STRONG
It s not easy to find strong like it, they usually are plastic. This is almost forever.

The ubiquitous screw in poles (like the paint roller handle) fits this. Plastic screw was smooth. Metal screw somewhat binding. It’s little narrow. The mesh sand paper I have sticks out about 1/2″ on both sides. The swivel part (with the female threads) was binding a little out of the box. About 2 dozen turns freed it although not sure how the tiny binding will feel when using this. The rubber cushion feels robust enough for at least one average house, even if this was used exclusively. I round off the square edge with a sandpaper to avoid the sharp edge from gouging the wall surface.

Arrived on time and in good order. Sturdy metal construction a desirable feature. Pole threading kind of an unfortunate hit or miss. Different size diameters, thread pitch, coarse or fine. Dressing some plastic male threads on an extendable pole with a file often necessary, as they don’t have the same compression characteristics as the once favoured wooden ones. So what to attach, grit papers, screens, or sponge sanders? Latter is our only choice, and one or two such 4x3x1-in. blocks have been simply mounted to the base. Flip or replace the sponge to change the grit. Spritzer the sponge surface with a damp watering, as a final surface treatment. Patience during the entire process will be rewarded.

I had to use twist ties to stablize the sander. The sander comes apart from pole during use. SAVE YOUR MONEY! This product is a piece of junk! Doesn’t even rate 1 star.
