I used the heck out of this. I did have a bad switch on the first one but returned it and the second one worked great. For the price point, I recommend this sander. The variable speed is a nice feature.

Breaks 3 days after 30 day return period. BUT company replaced immediately, no questions asked.
UPDATE:I emailed the company, and within 4 days, a brand new buffer was sitting on my deck by the door. Have not used it yet, but that is stellar service. Hopefully it lasts longer than the original. Review upgraded to 4 stars. It would take never breaking in the first place to earn 5.If this had not broken 3 days after the 30 day Amazon return period, I would have given it 5 stars. It did everything I wanted it to do, buffing and polishing the paint on a restoration job. But then the knob on the top snapped right off when I was using it. Not very pleased any more.

Good tool to personal projects
I tested a little with the sand paper in a piece of wood and work nice. Has a soft start that is good for me. Is heavy so you don’t need add too much pressure. If you add too much pressure the polisher speed is going down. I show in the pictures few aesthetic details but just to show the machine. To me is perfwct to work in my cars and personal projects. Ther thing is that not come with spare carbon brush

not great
just received this buffing and i took it straight to the boat that im working on, it did buff out the 3 foot spot (but) the motor sounds like an old buffing that is wearing out. also, you cant fast trigger it (on and off) it wont keep speed if you try to fast trigger it (its like it has a governor) kind of goes to neutral and you have to wait on it to pick up speed (never seen a new buffer do this)

Sander worked 5 times and then would not run again

dog poop. less than 2 hours use and now the trigger switch works intermittently (like almost never). frustrating and a waste of money. now i have to buy the makita.. and i’m out whatever this one cost me. doesn’t this company actually test their products before making them available to purchase?

what seemed to be a descent priced polisher turned out to be a short lived tool. in less than an hours use polishing, the bearing began making a rattling noise, and at that point polishing was next to impossible as the tool began to vibrate when in contact with the paint surface.
