Has 3/8″ and 1/2″ anvils that are supper easy to change out. Length of ratchet is just right for a 42″ Zero Turn mower deck. It comes with one 1.7Ah Power Stack battery (a first for me) and a 4 AMP output charger. Location of the forward/reverse switch is great. Trigger lock is good for preventing anything from depressing it when not in use. Power tool can be used as a manual ratchet to loosen a tight bolt that the motor can’t loosen on its own. Torque is satisfactory for this light to medium duty tool.Ratchet was used to remove two eleven year old Zero Turn tensioner pulleys with bad bearings from the deck. First pulley had a self locking nut and this tool loosened it and removed it without any trouble. The second pulley had a bolt that fastens to the deck. I used the tool as a manual ratchet to loosen the bolt and used the motor to drive it on out. Tool provided good clearance and kept me from having to use a breaker bar and manual labor to do the job.Will use this on automotive repairs and assembly tasks that do not require the torque and power of the heavy duty 1/2″ cordless impact ratchet.10-29-2024Just used this nice ratchet to mount an ECHOGEAR TV wall mount for my mom. Had no trouble driving 2 inch lag bolts into the stud. Its profile got to the lag bolts when my 1/4″ impact driver could not get enough clearance to drive them.12-27-25Used the ratchet to replace both lawn mower deck spindles. It also was used to tighten the nut above the spindle pulleys.1-24-26The DCF500 12 volt 1/4″ and 3/8″ ratchet is another nice tool that includes a 1/4″ quick change hex. I bought this bare tool on ACME Tools website for a cheaper price.

I would say this tool saved a lot of effort and time, when I decided to maintain my car. It’s full functional and very durable. I have several DEWALT battery, no compatibility issue at all. Very happy to make this investment.

Dewalt quality tool
I love this ratchet. I used it quite extensively when changing struts on my wife’s car. This did not have a batter or charger, which I knew going into it. It is plenty powerful to take off brake caliper bolts and ball/tie rod end nuts as well. It will cinch bolts/nuts easily, but you will still need to properly torque bolts down with a torque wrench. It has a 3/8” and 1/2” socket ends to handle a wide wangle of sockets. Because it’s not an impact socket, you can use regular sockets with it. The length is a problem in certain situations, but it’s nothing that extensions or a swivel can’t help overcome. It’s not cheap, so it is a luxury if you can afford it.

Works well, but not that much torque
I bought this for DIY car fixing. I like that you can change the bit sizes between 3/8 and 1/2, but ngl this is a lot weaker than I was expecting. It has rating to go to 75ft/lbs, but that’s definitely not real world. For instance, a lot of brakes calipers are held down at around 35-40lbs and even when I tighten it to that and then use this to initiate, it will fail. I think this is probably great for the little bolts that are around, but you still will need an impact hammer that can handle the initiate untorqueing.The build quality thought is fantastic. It just feels like so much better than the offbrand labels. Comparing it to the major brands, it feels very much the same. Overall, I’d recommend buying this if you do a lot of garage work but just remember that you probably still need a better impact or breaker bar.

Extremely Helpful – With the Right Battery
I used this DeWalt ratchet for a day of automotive work. It was mostly used for loosening and tightening body and chassis fasteners (Torx 40) and smaller and lower-torque levels < 35 Nm. The tool is very precise and handy. Its format is relatively light and can access small spaces easily. Swapping sockets was smooth and changing direction was easy. The battery allowed about 3 hours of use. I was not using this tool alone and was a bit surprised it could not last the day. I had a spare that was also quickly dry.... I will buy a new DeWalt 20V Li battery and re-test. Bottom line: Tool is excellent and battery need to match up.

استلمت هذي الاداة ذات مواد تصنيع عالية الجودة وفيها حديد قوي مثل ما تعودت من ديوالت وجربتها بدون ان افك فيها اي شي وباين انها قوية من السرعة والاحساس بالعزم ولكن راح ارجعها لانها طويلة بشكل مبالغ فية وثقيلة جدا وأضف عليها وزن البطارية بالنسبة لي غير مناسبة وسوف ارجعها واخذ الموديل القصير والاقل وزن ولكن ديوالت هي خياري الاول والافضل دائما في جميع الادوات لأنجاز الاعمال في البيت والعمل . وحاول تأخذها وقت العروض لانها غالية السعر . اذا افدتك لاتنسى الضعط على زر استفدت من هذا التعليق لنشر الفائدة للجميع
