i recently had to remove ancient 50 year old shag carpet that had been laid down over the original 100+ year old wood staircase, i needed a sander.i love this sander! i was able to get two floors of stairs sanded down to stain in around four hours time. i could get into corners and small areas i couldn’t have with any other. it went through decades old build up without a hiccup.i did have one issue and it comes down to design. i may love the sander but i hate how they’ve designed the dust capture bag, well not a bag anymore. no matter what i did i ended up with a lot of saw dust floating in the air and settling on everything. i ended up getting an aftermarket bag because i’m not dealing with that type of mess ever again.if not for the lack of a ‘bag’ i’d have given this five stars but as it’s currently designed? that’s why it gets only four stars from me.*the attached photo shows just what this little sander can do.

EXPERIENCED WOODWORKER. DO NOT BUY! BAD DESIGN!
The picture says it all. I was SO excited to use this detail sander (purchased before shoulder surgery, so I couldn’t return after 1st use post-op.) After initial “stripping” & final “strip-wash” of oak dining table (3 painted coats of goop), I was ready to “fine-tune” sand with this detail sander. I used triangular sanding attachment. All was installed as usual, per directions (I always read to be SURE, but DO know most woodworking tools!). 5 seconds of use & the attachment blew off. Since I am past return time, I “Gorilla Glued” the bushing back into place. High vibration will likely detach within a few uses. Great idea on design but very poor engineering. BUSHING METAL GETS HOT! IT WILL MELT ITS BASE! DEKO: RE-ENGINEER YOUR ENGINEERS!

I recently Purchased the Dekoppro detail sander, and I really like it! It comes with different attachments that help me sand small and weird-shaped spots easily. The sandpapers have Velcro on the back, so itâs simple to change them. It also includes sandpaper, even though you might have to purchase a different grit for different jobs,This sander is perfect for detailed work, and I highly recommend it!

Move on to something else
I give 3 stars because it i s ok. I was planning some heavy duty use out of this sander. Only to be extremely disappointed that it does not, I repeat it did not suck particles when in use. I ended up attaching my vacuum up to it and using it. (I need a new vacuum now) the grit of sand paper it comes with was a waste. A couple passes and it was ripped to shreads. The attachments were junk. At least the 1 was. Snapped off at the slight pressure applied

Needed to sand along the baseboards and in corners to finish up a hardwood floor refinishing. There was a worry that this little thing might not be up to the job and burn out. Not at all. This unit did a great job, and we were able to purchase matching sanding pads at the Home Depot (mid-project) to keep it working. For the price, you can’t go wrong. Equivalent sanders by the big names were considerably more expensive. Give this little unit a try – you won’t be disappointed.

Used this sander for 30 minutes to clean up the back of a chair with the small attachment. The attachment fell off while working. When I wanted to reattach the attachment I found that the screw that attaches to the sander has completely burned out!!! There is no way to fix this issue! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, ITS VERY CHEAPLY MADE!
