Just came in. It looks fine but does not come with battery or battery charger. The description is not very clear on that, I didn’t know what they meant by tool only. If you also don’t know, this is for you.

Sanding pad is an odd size
I decided on this tool to replace my worn out mouse sander for 2 reasons: 1) I could attach a vacuum, and 2) it had variable speed options. The only problem is that I have an entire case of sandpaper that doesnât fit this sander (5.5X3.5 inch). Iâve been using the larger paper anyway, and it works fine, but none of the holes match up which kind of ruins the whole vacuum attachment advantage. I guess there is sandpaper in this different size, but itâs not very easy to find. Also, I am not interested in buying all new sandpaper. What I would like to do is find a backing pad that is the larger size with holes so that I could use the vacuum attachment. Weirdly though none of the mouse style backing pads on Amazon tell you what size they are. Andâ¦when searching on Amazon, pages and pages of sandpaper comes up even if you search for âbacking padâ along with attachments for other types of sanders, etc., etc. So, I am keeping the tool, but I would love to swap out the backing pad. Also, I had to buy off brand batteries because the Craftsman batteries were crazy expensive and this is the only Craftsman tool I have.
