Bosch cordless
For the price point it can definitely be a little stronger. Besides that, this sander handles and operates a lot smoother than it’s peers in the same ( cordless – small size / compact sanders ) category. Definitely have something there.

Pretty good sand for the price
This unit sands pretty well and has low vibration. The built-in dust collection works pretty well and the battery lasts for about 2 hours of continuous use.Having said that, I had to buy an adapter to connect my dust extractor to the machine and I still have to tape the adapter and hose together to keep them from falling apart. This is an irritation and makes it impossible to change from hose to bag quickly.I’m also not happy with the battery design, at least when used with this machine. The battery has indicator lights to tell one how much juice is left in the battery, but the battery has to be inserted into the tool in such a way that the indicator lights can only be seen by removing the battery from the tool. This is unlike (say) the Milwaukee batteries which can be read while the battery is on a tool. This isn’t the end of the world, but it is a sloppy design, in my view.If I had it to do over, I would have purchased the corded version of this tool as it would have worked better with my dust extractor. But, that’s because I prefer to use dust collection whenever possible, and the corded tool would have been able to start and stop the extractor just by turning on the sander. I overlooked that when I bought the battery powered version.
