This thing is awesome! If done knifes to lawn mower blades. Belt does walk a little but adjustments are easy

GREAT for the money. Better on 1HP grinders.
I mean for 100 bucks…this thing is pretty great. There’s some fit and finish that isn’t awesome, and the supplied hardware isn’t guaranteed to fit your machine. Which is where it lost 1 star for me. The main barrell is out of round but it doesn’t seem to effect operation much. There’s a design flaw with the round disc where you cover all the aet screws for the plate over top…which means you can’t take the plate off to access the wheel. This is usually not that much of a problem however, the gross adjustment (meaning large adjustment) for the tracking and top plate are in there. So make sure you run a couple test belts before buttoning it all the way up to make sure you fine tracking lever will have you covered before attaching the plate and circular disc. Again all these things are why it loses 1 star for me.I definitely recommend a 1 hp grinder. I had it on a 3/4 hp machine as was the bottom end spec for this attachment and it was…just ok. Faster than your average 4×36 belt sander which runs at like 1200 or so, but really suffered when you put pressure on the belt. But with a 1hp this thing screams. My big 1Hp grinder runs at 3600rpm and i couldnt notice a drop at all. I mean sure it’s no 2 or 3HP 72″ grinder at 5500 plus but again… its 100 bucks. For 100 bucks you can’t touch this kind of speed normally. So as long as you have a nice sized bench grinder… totally worth it for the cost.

Great with a variable speed bench grinder
Very good linisher for metal grinding or wood/leatherwork. My recommendation would be to buy a 8” variable speed bench grinder to mount this on. Then it works very smooth.

Bench sander / grinder
Quality looks good ! Arrived on time and most completely assembled. Takes a couple of seconds for the motor to get up speed. Low vibration with it just sitting on table.

EVERYTHING IS AWFUL
Instructions are awful. Gettin the tracking right is next to impossible. The drum wheel will not spin evenly and the screws provided to mount the attachment don’t fit existing holes. Extremely disappointed in this product. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!

Works flawlessly
Easy to mount, works great for a modification!

Not smooth and belt travels
Even with using the adjuster, the belt travels on me. I also think something is out of whack because the contact wheel causes my metal object to bounce.

Not good very flimsy and adjusting is a horor
