Milwaukee’s NEW Mid-Torque & Compact Impact Wrenches!

[Harley] Hey guys, I'm Harley with 
Ohio Power Tool and we're joined   again by our friend Milwaukee Joe…
[Joe] What's going on, everyone?  [Harley] Today he brought in some of the 
new impacts we're going to talk about,   but before we start, make 
sure you like and subscribe! [Harley] So Joe, what have 
you brought for us today?  [Joe] So today I brought in three of our new 
impact wrenches–our 3/8" mid-torque, our 3/8"   compact, and our 1/2" mid-torque as well.
[Harley] Great! [Harley]   So why don't you tell us about the mid-torques?
[Joe] So, Milwaukee is going to offer three   new model numbers on this mid-torque 
line.

It's going to be our 2960, 2962,   and then our 2962P. Uh, this is, they're all going 
to offer best in class power to weight ratio,   uh, with 650 pounds of nut busting torque 
and then 550 pounds of fastening torque,   and with just a 5.0 battery you're 
gonna… you're gonna have 5.1 pounds,   um, in weight for all of these. So all of 
our new impacts are going to come with an   unmatched feature set, so they're going 
to include new tri-LED's delivering high   definition lighting, uh, this is going to increase 
work- workspace visibility with less shadows,   as well as a four-mode drive control. What this 
is going to include is a auto-shutoff mode,   which is going– which is going to prevent 
over tightening, and then a bolt-removal mode,   which offers more control after bolt breakaway.
[Harley] Awesome! So what are   these running price wise?
[Joe] Yep, so bare tool options on our   mid-torques are going to be $219 and then on the 
kit with two batteries it's going to be $419.  [Harley] Two batteries?
[Joe] Two batteries!  [Harley] Two batteries! Awesome, well 
that's great info about the mid-torques.

Um,   why don't you tell us about the compact impacts?
[Joe] Yeah, these are gonna be great for your   automotive techs that really need to get into 
really tight spaces. So these are gonna come   in three different model numbers–it's 
going to be a 2854, 2855, and a 2855P,   that's going to be our pendant version. So what's 
so great about our compact impact wrench is that   they're going to be super compact in low access 
areas. So it's going to be 4.9" in total length   and then 3.9 pounds with a 5.0 battery. They're 
going to include new tri-LED's, delivering high   definition lighting, this is going to increase 
work workspace visibility with less shadows,   as well as a four-mode drive control.
[Harley] So what are we looking at   for breakaway and fastening on these?
[Joe] So it's going to be the same.

So,   fastening torque is going to be 250 
pounds and then breakaway force is   going to be 250 pounds as well, so 
it's going to offer you more torque   for demanding applications.
[Harley] Awesome! So what   are the pricings on the compacts?
[Joe] So our bare tool options are going   to be $199. Our kit options that come with two 
5.0 batteries are going to be $369, and then we   actually have a separate kit, it's our 2854-22CT. 
This is going to come with our compact 2.0   batteries, this is going to be offered at $299.
