welcome to one key in this video we'll
show you how to control your m18 fuel half-inch drills using the one key
mobile app to get started ensure that your drill is within 30 to 50 feet of
your mobile device and connect it to an m18 battery one key mode must also be
selected on the collar of your drill to connect open your inventory dashboard
and ensure you've added your one key enabled drill to your inventory to learn
how to add a tool to your inventory you can watch that video here select the
tool to be added and tap connect to tool tap pair from the tool home screen
select tool controls your setups are optimized sets of controls that are
specific to an application select the custom drive control set up the
adjustable clutch torque range allows you to set the minimum and maximum range
on your clutch the fixed setting allows you to set a single torque level you can
also adjust the RPM of your tool trigger ramp up speed work light duration and
work light brightness from this screen now select the custom drill control
setup from here you can dial in a specific drilling speed that is best for
your bit and material kick back control allows you to activate an electronic
torque shutoff parameter for high torque applications select the whole saw setup
you can enter in the whole saw type size and material being cut through one key
will then optimize the tool performance based on these settings once you're
satisfied with your changes you're ready to save this configuration to your tool
four modes are available on the tool click Save select the desired mode or
modes you wish to save to and title your new profile this allows you to select
modes on the tool later without using your mobile device on the job you have
