hey guys Ken Davis here from Acme tools
and today I'm with makita's new 18 volt subcompact line and we're just going to
kind of point out some the awesome features about this as you can see it's
about the same size as their 12 volt line but of course what's great about is
you're not sacrificing any powers it's still an 18 volt system it is going to
ship with the 2 amp hour batteries on it so staying with that subcompact design
and here we have the quarter inch driver and this like most drivers does have the
high and the low setting on but what they incorporated with this is an assist
feature and the assist feature is going to let the tools start slowly when
you're putting a screw or maybe a bolt together and it's going to help prevent
cam locking and also stripping of the threads so you'll see this demonstration
here on this lag screw so you can see it still drives that nice and quick but
takes it easy at the beginning so we don't get any messed up threads on there
and then of course here we have the half inch drilled has all the same features
the locking chuck and I have a little bit over a half inch drill bit in here so again no sacrifice and power so again
the subcompact line by a Makita I'm Ken Davis with Acme tools thanks for watching
today guys don't forget to do your best work
