Hitachi 1 Gallon Quiet Air Compressor

Hey everybody Brian Wavra with Acme Tools
here today with the Hitachi EC 28 M 1 gallon air compressor now this
is a 2.8 amp air compressor again one gallon delivers point 8 CFM at 90 psi
the beautiful thing about this is how portable it is the small size the and
the sound level in a second here will actually open up the drain
we'll get the unit to kick on so you can see how quiet it is or here how quiet it
is but we just wanted to touch on a few points that this unit has so right up
front we've got a nice roll cage protecting the tank pressure and the
regulated pressure gauges the regulator and the AMT style quick coupler we turn
the unit on the side you can see there's a thermal overload protection and our 1
gallon tank and off the back the drain is real easy to get to so you can keep
the moisture out of the tank so it will actually drain some air out of this as
soon as it fires up I'll shut the drain and then you can hear how quiet the unit
is this compressor runs at 59 decibels to
give you an idea 60 decibels is normal conversation not a problem to have this
running in the background of any room that you're working on the ideal uses
for this compressor would be someone who's a trim carpenter or doing some
small pieces of trim you're not going to want to frame a house with it you're not
gonna want to redo your roof with it but if something were ever come up so you
got a punch list if you're going back into a situation where you had to
replace one shingle absolutely take this up on the roof with you with the coil of
shingle nails and your roofing nailer this will get it by for that small case
