Vivo Rolling Racing Seat: An Affordable Solution with Large Casters

Have you ever had the experience of rolling around on a seat with small casters in your workshop and suddenly hitting a stone and falling hard on your face? If so, then you might want to check out the Vivo Rolling Racing Seat. In this article, we will take a look at this innovative product and discuss its features, pros, and cons.

Large Casters

The main highlight of this racing seat is its large casters. Out of the four casters, two of them actually lock, which can be useful for specific situations. The caster size is absolutely amazing and makes rolling around a lot easier. You no longer have to worry about hitting stones or getting caught up on objects since the Vivo Rolling Racing Seat can navigate around them effortlessly.

Adjustable Height

This seat allows you to adjust the height according to your preference. Even at its lowest setting, it is still comfortable to use. You can also work a little higher by lifting the seat up a bit. However, one downside is that the bottom part tends to flop around, but it’s definitely not a big issue.

Affordability

The Vivo Rolling Racing Seat is not the highest quality product on the market, but it is an affordable solution with large casters. You don’t have to break the bank to get a practical and functional seat for your workshop. The actual seat itself is not outstanding, but the large casters are what make it special.

Durability

It’s important to note that this seat is not meant for industrial use. It is more suitable for a home workshop since the materials used are not the most durable. The seat itself leans back a bit too far, which might not be ideal for some users who prefer more upright seating.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly solution with large casters for your home workshop, then the Vivo Rolling Racing Seat might be a great option for you. It’s not the highest quality product out there, but it’s definitely practical and gimmick-free. The casters are the standout feature that makes rolling around more comfortable and stress-free.

Overall, the Vivo Rolling Racing Seat delivers on its promise and is a solid investment for anyone who wants to upgrade their workshop experience. Have you tried this racing seat or another similar product with large casters? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Being able to spin the tray around for parts is actually a good buying point for me.

  2. I wish they had a version with these wheels, and the other vented/low-sweat seat. Central TX is hitting 85F today y'all!

  3. This seems like a knock-off of the Traxion chair as they look almost identical. The Traxion doesn't have locking casters and the lower tray is just a bit different. I love the Traxion, and their customer service is pretty great too! I had the cylinder start sticking when lifting/lowering the chair and they sent me out a replacement no questions asked!

  4. As always a well researched and comprehensive vid. Glad to see you closing in on a well-deserved 200,000 subs, have been a subscriber for years. Vyper makes a really nice and well made shop/garage chair but you have to be pretty well-heeled to afford one as they start at about $400. My weapon of choice based on budget and needs is a Wen round model that I bought on Amazon, it's good enough for my needs, however seating surface is on the small side.

  5. Were is the pup dog vest for tools?😁

  6. I will never not get a kick out of your confused dog showing up in videos.

  7. should of bought a vyper for a kidney

  8. Perfect timing! I’ve been through I don’t know how many of those harbor freight chairs 😂.

  9. Agree completely. The large casters are a game changer. I've had an old Craftsman round seat for decades that has put me on my back many times. A few years ago I got a new one from Adam's Polishes. It has a large thick plastic seat that looks like an old Ford 8N tractor seat. Very comfortable. I stay away from the padded seats just because they are more easily damaged in the shop. I see Vevor is now selling a seat for $75 that looks just like the Adam's seat. Needless to say it's about $40 less than what Adam's is charging. Even with the large casters you have to be a little careful with all these seats when you have them extended up. If you lean forward to pick something up off the floor they can squirt out from under you and leave you staring at the ceiling. 🙂

  10. I've been through so many shop chairs over the years. I'm a big guy, so I'm admittedly hard on them…but they all suck and eventually break. This is a copy/rebrand of the Traxxion gear seat…I also had that one and the ball bearings started falling out of the caster swivels, the hydraulic cylinder failed, and eventually the seat frame broke.

Then the Vyper Chair came out, and I started saving up some cash to buy it. It costs as much as a nice La-Z-Boy recliner, but man is it worth every cent that it costs. Its built like a complete tank. Super strong and smooth rolling 4" casters, powder coated steel frame and tool tray, acme thread adjustment rod (they also have a solid steel quick height adjustment option now), thick leather seat and perfectly sized/positioned backrest. I have no doubt that this will be the last shop chair I'll ever buy (I'm only 42)…and my son (14 months) will hopefully get a lifetime out of it too.

Best of all, they're USA made in Green Bay, WI.

  11. Convinced this dude and Shop Tool Reviews are the same person

  12. I have the same one, it’s awesome. Excellent as I grow older AND as my tummy gets bigger. Recommend.
