Inside ryobi’s new hp lineup is a multi-tool that is brushless now these tools are priceless when you need them we’re going to go over this guy top to bottom stick with us first things first welcome to our demolition area and that’s what i have been using this tool for so

Basically here it’s just been little pieces and parts that i needed to cut or get into to remove wires or just to tear things apart these can be pretty priceless so what i want to do is come in take a look at this tool i’m going to

Show you exactly how i feel about everything on here and then we’ll show you a little bit of it in use go over some of its specs and go from there let you decide if this is the right tool for you come on in so the important stuff you have 10

000 to 20 000 oscillations per minute that are controlled by this dial at the bottom so i believe this is meant to be able to have your finger control it one way or another while it’s in use your on and off switch is right there 3.6 degree oscillation in the front

In your tool change is or your blade change is tool free you can see here we just slide it off this little guy sits up you can put your tool on in any fashion that you want to to make it work push that guy down tighten into place

Not a new style not anything that’s high dollar it should fit 99 of the blades that are out there without issue now you do have this blade that comes with it more of a straight cut you have a round cut and you have a sanding disc with some

Sanding pads that comes with it you can see this disc has been well used i’ve run into screws i’ve run into a lot of things with it the new grip that they have in this is interesting it is nice rubber over mold you can get a

Great grip on this and i’m going to go back to my glock gen 4 comparison they have a small finger groove here that’s going to fit your hand like in the middle if you put it between your fingers or if you put your hand down and of course i

Have larger hands so your hands are going to fit different but what the way i want to hold this tool it sits right on the top of this finger i despise these i don’t like them they’re it just depends if you wear gloves you i feel you lose some of the control on

This but you don’t feel this but either way this is here like it or not so we’re going to turn this guy on you can hear it we’ll go from one all the way up [Applause] [Applause] and obviously here you’re just basically going to control how fast you cut into different things battery on this thing is the same i have the 2 amp hour high performance the new model this battery is model number pbp003 it does have all the different connections on it the ones up front now

This unit only uses the two connections on the inside obviously you don’t need a ton of power with this guy it is what it is here so what is it about this tool that’s going to attract you if you’re in the ryobi line and i assume that it’s going to be

The brushless motor that’s what’s going to just bring people in and say okay i have this it’s a brushless motor it’s going to give me 30 more power a little bit more runtime and i’m pretty happy as far as the blade change goes i think there’s a lot of different styles out there

That a lot of people are a lot of different companies are getting into and there’s some nice click on ones and it all depends on how much you want to spend on some of these blades this works it’s better than i’ve seen some of the older milwaukees have

They’ve had an actual screw that went in the end that’s long gone thank god i’m going to give you something that i absolutely love in these and that’s a trigger like you would have in a drill and that gives me the most control in how much speed i get in the most

Feel for what’s going on rather than a dial that i feel like i have to use my trigger finger to try to move in the right direction so for me this tool works there’s no doubt about it um i’m just i like a little bit different blade connection in the bottom

That’s just me and when i’m using it again i like to go for that trigger and there’s really only one or two models out there that have the trigger i don’t think that’s overly popular i’m curious what you guys think about that i’m going to continue to do some demo here
