Works great and great quality
This is really one of my best tool purchases. I’m restoring the hull of an old fiberglass sailboat. After repairing the damage this sanding bar made fairing in the contours much easier. You still need a longboard for final blending but this bar gets you 90% of the way there– all with almost no dust. In order to make the vacuum more effective cover the vented back spine with masking tape. The tool will still have all the flexibility you’ll need to adjust it to the curvature of your part being sanded. The sandpaper that’s included is fantastic too. I filled and sanded one side of the hull multiple times and I still haven’t change the sandpaper strip. I don’t give 5 stars easily. This tool is simple, works as advertised and was a great value. 5 Stars

Original one is way better
I should’ve bought the original one instead of this, the ball studs loose and they fall off I had to put a masking tape to hold them in place, the rest of the sanding block is ok it does gets the job done, I would recommend get the original

it adjusts to the curves on the body panels but wont last
NOW after using it a few weeks on and off , how ever its made so it can suck up the paint dust has give up the ghost. ive run two shop vacs on it the 3.5 h.p couldn’t do the job as dust out on the end refuse to pick it up. SO i bought and WENT TO A 6.5 H.P SHOP VAC it done great after a short time though it sucks out the back side of it you can hear it and see it now only picks up dust at the very front. its one thing to break it its another to fall apart on the inside . if it had lasted one whole paint job id just buy another .
