Nice sanding pad…
Bough this for my M12 oscillating tool because the stock one already came apart, sure hope this one lasts longer. The velcro piece does seem to be glued on better than the one that came with tool. Fit my tool perfectly. Don’t know why another reviewer said it does not fit M12 tools, works perfectly for me.One thing, this is bigger than the original, least the one that came with my tool. That is a good thing because it’s easier to get sandpaper for this size.So far, really happy with this.

OEM Part That Works Great
OEM part for Milwaukee M18 sanders. Fits great, and holds sandpaper much tighter than my old, worn pad. I’m going to start swapping these out every other disposable pads or so to head off issues with the rubber teeth that hold the pads wearing out.

Fits M12 fuel but not as good as original
Was pleasantly surprised that it matches original pad that came with the m12 fuel multi tool. However within the fist pass on a project (1min) into sanding it melted the hooks on the top corner. I’d expect that to happen if it was a tight spot and did not move it at all. This was single pass, even pressure across a 2-3ft board. Looked at the pad and saw the leading edge was melted. Def disappointing but I guess it’s better than a bent pad… not sure if I’d recommend it. At least it wasn’t super expensive.

OEM Part, works on M12 or M18 tool
This is great to replace the original that came with your tool when you weren’t careful and overworked the paper killing off the velcro on the original. Can it be improved – well, it would be nice if I didn’t have to completely remove the screw in order to change between cut blades and the sanding pad, but otherwise it is fine.

Wenn man nicht aufpasst, schmilzt der Klettkunststoff in den Ecken der Pads schnell, auf Grund der Wärmeentwicklung beim schleifen. Auch ansonsten ist die Haltbarkeite eher so befriedigend aber nicht wirklich super. Habe leider bisher keine Alternative für meine Milwaukee Akkuschleifer aus dem 12V System gefunden.Der Preis ist auch nicht gerade günstig. Auch bezogen auf die Qualität.

All of these attachments seem to be made with identical poor quality pads which ‘fail’ to hold the sandpaper pad after using for one week! The backing dislodges far too quickly whatever the make, I suspect they are all made by the same manufacturer and then branded to suit.I’d suggest buying cheap as possible as there is nothing to gain by using the more expensive ‘branded’ items. I’ve tried a number of these pads and they all wear out in a ludicrously quick time, all with the same fault – the backing de-laminating from the pad. Buy cheap and treat as disposable. Another ‘Made In China’ piece of built-in obsolescence junk.
