Great product – Greatly reduced both the sanding and clean-up
Iâm a DIYâer and after hand sanding some walls where I had done patch work in preparation for repainting, I decided it was worth trying an electric drywall sander. I chose the Populo because it received high ratings and had a built-in vacuum system. I found the sander to do a very good job of smoothing out the walls, I eventually settled in on the higher rpm speeds after I became familiar with the sander. I was exceedingly impressed with the vacuum system. From reading reviews I thought it would be best to connect to a shop vacuum to minimize the dust. I used the adapters supplied with the sander and found it to do a surprisingly good job of keeping the dust down. It was successful in vacuuming nearly 100% of the dust! This alone makes it worth the price. I was also very impressed with the lighting system which made it very easy to determine areas where extra sanding was needed. Finally, I also liked the portability of the system. It folded and could easily be stowed in the bag supplied with the sander. I highly recommend this product for drywall sanding.
