What a great deal for this tool. Be aware that you are buying the “bulk” version which saves you money and cuts out all the stuff you don’t need or want. Comes with the two cutting blades and three sanding triangles (60/80/120). Tool works perfectly with your existing One+ batteries. Well built and durable. Highly recommend!

If you’re wondering why this is cheaper than other models by the same brand is because the blades are attached with an allen wrench screw instead of a lever which is much more convenient and it it comes with fewer blades.Other than that it works well.

Are Ryobi tools going down hill?
Bought this oscillating tool so I could use it on a future project. Cut my first pipe with it, it worked great. Got to the second pipe, and something happened in the motor. It isn’t oscillating like it should. I called ryobi and they told me to take it to a repair shop. Not , send it back and we will replace it. Is what I expected them to say. They have always stood behind their products , I thought. I’ve got 2 hand held air compressors that the motors didn’t last very long. I won’t buy any more of those! I’m beginning to have my doubts about Ryobi tools. They were the best tools , I used to think. I was gonna send my oscillating tool back to Amazon, but by the time I used the tool it was past the return date. So I ask myself ….. do I buy another one? Inputs are welcome.

I have a number of Ryobi tools that all use the same 18V batteries. That is the main benefit. Ryobi tools, in my opinion, are not as robust as more expensive brands. But for the DIYer (i.e. me) they are well worth it. They do the job, and the multi-tool is no exception. One caveat: the model I bought requires the removal of a hex screw. I would recommend purchasing the slightly more expensive model that has a lever mechanism like those on the professional models.
