Love my milwaukee 1/4" fuel ratchet. Saves a lot of time. #workshopaddict
#workshopaddict – I have a lawn care business. I'll need some new equipment in the spring and I'm looking at battery power. One consideration for me is that I currently have some old Ryobi 18v tools with really old Ni-cad batteries, and they need replacing. I like my Ryobi tools for work I've done around the house, but their OPE is clearly for homeowner use. Rather than buy new batteries for my Ryobi tools, and then invest in a separate platform for work, I love that i can buy new Milwaukee hand tools and lawn tools, and the same Milwaukee battery will power everything.
For that reason, i also looked at DeWalt but, like so many other companies, they can't make up their mind what battery platform they want to go with. Also, I love the pricing of the Milwaukee brand. For example, the 6 battery charger is $99. The DeWalt 6 battery charger is $399. That's absurd. It's a bunch of plastic, a little bit of wire, and a circuit board probably the size of a quarter.
I really want to get in to the Milwaukee line but….no mower? Come on Milwaukee, you're so close. Give us a mower, and give it the capacity to hold multiple batteries. Four would be fantastic. A 72v, on 4 12ah batteries? I'd be thrilled.
And the warranty…3 years for commercial users. Nothing gives more confidence than an exceptional warranty.
And finally, I know this is going to sound trivial, but my company logo is red and white. I don't think I'd like trimmers that are DeWalt yellow or Makita blue hanging on my trailer.
(EDIT) Hey Milwaukee, I was just at Home Depot looking at your line. I really wish you (and everybody else for that matter) would stop putting chargers in every box. If I buy 4 tools, I'm going to use the 4 batteries they come with, but I'll never use 4 chargers. Its a waste of money, manufacturing resources, and adds shipping weight. Drop the price a little, and give people the option of getting the charger they need (single or 6-pack) instead of having 4 expensive doorstops when I buy the 6-pack charger.
My Milwaukee M18 drill is the best cordless tool i have ever brought, #workshopaddict
They make home projects for women possible. Milwaukee tools are bad ass #workshopaddict
Milwaukee tools have changed the way I look at work/projects. I don't see work as work anymore now I see it as play. Milwaukee tools change work time to play time.#workshopaddict
I love that between my cordless impact, drill, string trimmer, etc… I can use the same battery and see similar quality across the board.
Love the diversity of tools, the array of options (12 vs 18 volt, OneKey option, mid vs high torque, range of batteries, etc.), and their kits are generally well thought-out. #workshopaddict
I really like milwaukees dedication to keep every thing in a 18v platform makes it alot more user friendly. #workshopaddict
I love the quality and durability of Milwaukee tools. #WorkshopAddict
I love the attention Milwaukee has put into the automotive line of tools. By far the best all around platform to get into. #workshopaddict
It's great having the diversity of tools to choose from in their lineup with quality to back them up. #workshopaddict
I love how Milwaukee puts out very good quality tools at an affordable rate while maintaining very good customer service. its pretty cool how they insure and m18 battery will fit any 18 tool even if that means it has to be sent back to the factory for modifications they pay for all that. very good customer service.
Really new to all this, but one thing I’ve learned so far is you can’t go wrong with Milwaukee. I don’t know much about tools, but I do know they are a pleasure to use. Thanks #workshopaddict
I have been using Milwaukee tools for 5 years now and they have been very durable for me and I have not yet owned any fuel Milwaukee tools yet but I would love to try them out #workshopaddict
